Well, the Glitch Generation show is ending next month. If you want to come down to DUMBO and take a look at the Green Foil Bunny in person, now is your chance! The next First Thursday gallery walk will be on June 3rd. Here’s a link with a list of all the participating galleries.

And for you non-New Yorkers: I’ve also got a show coming up in September at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art in Indiana. I’ll be showing the afore-mentioned Green Foil Bunny as well as Mack Truck Dog in their 2010 Contemporary Realism Biennial.

More to come! I have three new paintings in the works, 2 of which are 99.99999% finished… but then again, I always say that, now don’t I?

Well now here’s a bit of something…

I’m featured in the May/June 2010 issue of American Artist. It’s a great little story about Acrylic painters and their techniques.

I sent a copy to my dad, and he cut out the pages and put them in a picture frame. Oh brother!

Green Foil Bunny will be included in the Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC) Gallery’s Glitch Generation show, opening February 4th, down in DUMBO. If you’re in the area, come on down and check it out!

Well I’ve gotten quite a bit done over the holidays. And I’m glad it’s January because January is always one of my most productive months. Must be the light…

Here’s a recently-finished small Marbles painting. I thought I was finished painting marbles, but on a whim I decided to crank one out on a small square canvas I had sitting around my studio. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed painting this one. I actually felt giddy at one point. (what the hell is wrong with me?)

This is obviously in an very unfinished, awkward state. This is the Long Distance Viewer down at the Brooklyn Bridge Park (if anyone knows exactly what those viewer thingys are called, please let me know).

So Lock #10 (below) just got honorable mention in the Utrecht 60th Anniversary Juried Art Competition. You can see it here on their blog. And if that’s not cool enough, it’s also going to be featured in the January and February issues of American Artist magazine.
